Biography

Sanaa Abouayoub is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the many facets of the liberated woman, weaving together personal, archetypal, and mythological narratives.

After an early career in the corporate world, she studied art therapy and worked with diverse communities, particularly women and marginalized populations in Morocco, Canada, Kenya, and Uganda. Her experience as an art therapist profoundly influences her artistic practice and she uses art as a powerful medium for healing and transformation.

Since 2015, Sanaa has devoted herself to a free and intuitive artistic exploration, blending visual arts, poetry and performance to reclaim freedom, feminine pleasure, and her Amazigh ancestral wisdom.

Born in Morocco, her work has been presented in group exhibitions there and France.
