Once Upon a Time, TARIR !

Interdisciplinary project, initiated in 2017, Once Upon a Time, TARIR ! explores the visual and poetic universe of the archetype of the liberated woman. Inspired by Tarir, a female figure from Amazigh mythology, this creation-research project delves into the many facets of the feminine through the lens of the menstrual cycle.



Red Thread represents Tarir in transformation during her menstrual phase.


Primordial represents Tarir the mystic during her ovulatory phase. She connects with the spiritual world and sacred ancestral knowledge through symbolic language.
